Beyond the Flesh

Beyond the Flesh was born out of a call-and-response with a writer from George Mason University. The writer had difficulty choosing only one or even 3 of his poems and gave Mr. Verdon his entire MFA catalog of writings - “Memento Mori.” Michael chose a poem about the cycle of life and death of a father.
