HaSalon Hanasaya
(wood, glass, steel, insulation, Tyvek, hemp wood, lights, stain, stencils, cushions)
HaSalon Hanasaya is a traveling lounge - a space for social engagement. She has over 6,000 miles under her belt in only the past year. She is warm at night and cool with the windows open during the day. Powered by solar and pulled by a v6.
It was constructed using older wood-working techniques and joinery. The roofline was directly inspired by old wooden synagogues that once stood in Poland. Some of Michael’s ancestors are Polish-Jewish and he drew inspiration for them.
This space was designed to bring people together and build community everywhere she goes.
