Interactivity is central to most of Michael’s work - from public work to small commissions to the gallery. The final work and result is not complete without the viewer becoming the participants. Instead of a heroic act by the creator, it is instead a leadership position where we all arrive at the end with something new and unknowable. The participants action brings the work to life and, hopefully, change both the work and the participant too.
